Jarne Castermans

Jarne is one of those guys who seems to have a bike in his hands whatever the situation. He works at Cycle Passion, where he combines his knowledge of bikes with his love for racing, and rides for the Cycle Passion – SCOTT Racing Team. Before focusing more on his own racing, Jarne spent years working as a mechanic in the cyclocross scene, so he knows the sport from pretty much every angle. These days you’ll find him racing on the road and gravel, working on bikes at the shop, or riding around with the Sunday Grupetto — the group of friends and cyclists he has been part of since the early days of the crew. The Sunday Grupetto is less about taking cycling too seriously and more about good rides, good friends and plenty of kilometres. Jarne fits right in. He’s a racer, mechanic, gravel lover and one of the guys who lives cycling both on and off the bike.
